Cosa significa 8-Bit?
Si definisce 8 BIT o micromusic anche una branca della musica elettronica nata alla fine degli anni 80, in Inghilterra, in cui la risoluzione di campionamento per ottenere i suoni che poi costituiranno la quasi totalità di un brano è proprio di 8 BIT. Inizialmente furono campionati i suoni di famose console di gioco come il GameBoy e il Nintendo Entertainment System di Nintendo.
